"SLO Hills" 12x12 Acrylic on Wood

This is one of the 8 paintings from my 12x12 Central Coast Series. I painted this series with the idea of bringing bright and colorful artwork to every room. I tried out a new painting style that allows the neon pink base layer to show through in some areas that helps tie in all the colors.
 
"SLO Hills" is based off of a photo my cousin took that I used as a reference. I loved the pink and green contrast of colors with the rolling hills in the background and the tall grass in the foreground.
 
The painting's edges are painted and comes ready to hang.
