About the Painting:
"After it Rains" was painted to show off the stunning green hills on the way to the coast from Paso Robles. Usually we don't see much rain in this area but after a record amount of rain this year, the hills were magical and lit up with every shade of green so I knew I had to paint the scene. In the small details, you can see the ocean and even Morro Rock and Montana de Oro in the background.
